Auto Book: Productivity Suite by Logitope

Auto Book is a productivity suite developed by Logitope.

Initially, the application was focused on a single purpose – automating the exchange of purchase order (PO) information by email: The sending party creates a PO based on a template, automatically saves the PO data such as date, PO number, remuneration, etc. locally in a simple text-based database and emails the PO to the supplier. With a single click, the supplier extracts the data from the received email and stores it in their own local file.

Although simple in concept, this email-based PO system proves much faster in real life than the ubiquitous cloud platforms that force users to log in via a web browser – and perhaps more importantly, it eliminates human error by automating data capture and ensures that supplier and buyer store exactly matching data, streamlining invoice approval processes.

As part of this module, Auto Book also provides a Dataviewer that automatically shows each column's total as well as a versatile Extraction Wizard that generates RegEx patterns based on mouse clicks.

Auto Book's other functions include:

• A powerful, advanced Clip Manager featuring the world's most flexible search function, carefully fine-tuned for speed and intuitive use. Instantly access information from years or decades ago in milliseconds, not seconds – with an unrivalled set of search options that are adjusted on the fly using single modifier letters. Tag clips with keywords and find related entries via a quick drop-down. Save important clips in Pin Sets that auto-pin on reload with a single click. Auto Book is the fastest way to collect, organize and retrieve text on your computer – save valuable time and reduce stress when you need to remember something under tight deadlines: your all-time clip archive is just one hotkey away.
• A File Lister that's ultra-easy to use yet powerful. Designed with project management applications in mind, it offers all options to generate file lists in exactly the way you want. While you toggle options, a live preview shows what the resulting list will look like. Your tailored list will be auto-saved to the parent folder and/or copied to the clipboard. You only need to drag and drop your files/folders onto Auto Book's Databases panel.
• Math functionality across all clips, notes, and the Dataviewer: Just type a formula – even a nested one – anywhere, followed by an equals sign, and the result appears instantly. You can also sum up tabular data. Perfect for project management when time is tight.
• A simple Hotstrings function that can save significant amounts of time when writing emails or composing AI prompts.

Auto Book is designed to give the user maximum control over all data, using tab-separated plain-text files that can be viewed and edited with the internal viewer or any other text editor/spreadsheet application. It's lightweight and no installation is required.
